Deleting Your Account

You can do this yourself, inside the app, without asking anyone.

How

1. Open Local Haunts.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Under Account, tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. You are signed out immediately.

What Goes

Deleting the account permanently removes:

• Your login and email address.
• Your Caché: every saved place, list and note.
• Your vouches and your crowns.
• Your subscription record in our database.

It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore it afterwards.

What Stays

• Aggregate counts. The number of vouches on a place is not attributed to anyone, and removing one person's contribution after the fact is not possible without publishing who it belonged to.
• Anonymous telemetry. View records and crash logs are severed from your account rather than deleted, because they no longer identify you once the id is gone.
• Your purchase. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription: that lives in your App Store or Play Store account and has to be cancelled there. Deleting the account while subscribed does not stop the billing.

If You Cannot Get Into The App

Email support@nothingparticularlyspecial.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
